[9.0 2012 RS]

I got beat today by a Jetta. ( 2014 I'm guessing ) I lost by two & 1/2 - he was stock and so am I currently. Yeah I know they are 2.5 and 170hp but I also know they start to fall apart around 70k miles & are endless money 💰 pits to fix when they get older. There's big love for them too- the aftermarket community is huge for Volkswagen however, my question is: with i/h/e and maybe pulleys would my 2012 box 📦 hang with or beat that sucker? It's Saturday afternoon, and everybody's pissed because of the economy but Clubxb goes on. I never assumed that I can run cars that are out of my league- but if i can beat the 2.5 Jetta, I'd be happy for now. Entertain us with your Jetta story ( or similar) spring has finally arrived here in the Midwest and I'm xB happy I guess. Thanks.

heck if I feel like pissin off people I will borrow my brothers hellcat challenger (with some drag radials on the rear)
I swear every idiot in a car wants to take a run at you
some of them crack me up beating the hell out of their crap cars
you name the car, there is a idiot behind the wheel thinking they are

then I stomp it and they are in the rear view.. lol

Yeah but a Hellcat is out of my league! I'm talking Civics, Four cylinder Accords crappy Kias and the like.

a few of those cars can go pretty quick
I saw a group of about 30 or more ricers last week (a car club)
I followed them for about 35 miles down the highway
a guy in a Civic and a tuned WRX were the 2 fastest in the pack
The WRX had such a turbo and tune on it
the loud backfire sounded like the muffler should of exploded.
it was pretty quick taking off at about 50 on up

half of me says to make my gen 1 go faster
the other half says all I will do is break a lot of parts.
