Well it's cold in Chicago. Getting light snow- I for one need to clean my maf sensor, Get
Snow Car Automotive tire Sky Vehicle

two new front tires, and a wheel alignment. What are the rest of you doing to tune for the winter? Tips? ( I know you California folks don't worry about it much ) Just curious if I missed anything. Thanks. ( That's my old 09 in the pic two years ago) lol

I just make sure I have a extra jug of washer fluid kicking around
I know if the car is gonna break something,
it will be when it is at its coldest outside.
been there done that
I have replaced the
Battery, Starter, Alternator already in the worst weather
so I hope to be able to skate by this winter (fingers crossed)

I have to add this story to the thread

Just last year my alternator died in the cold
Went to the store and the battery light popped on the way.
I didn't make it home
Died in the middle of a large intersection
had to be towed.
The next day I get a alternator to put in
It was 21 degrees as a high that day.
When I put a 🔧 on the first bolt it snapped
right off In the alternator.
You don't soon forget days like that. Lol

My advice is if you have a older car have warm clothes to wear when fixing it or
a few bucks aside to pay to get it fixed
The cold will find the weak spots eventually
And it will catch you sooner or later
