225/40/18 should be ok. But 9.5" seems a little wide... You will have a VERy sretched tire....

I would do 215/40/18 if i were for for a super nice stretch look. But it you don't like to stretch that much, then go 225/35/18.

what would be an equal stretch of 215/40/17 on an 8.5 inch wide wheel to an 8 inch wide
wheel in 15's? 195/50 or 195/45, i like how my stretch is now and wanna keep the same look on my 15's
