The only thing that would make that cooler is if the OD button were bigger so you could put a decal on it that said something like, "Secondary Rocket Booster"

Left is some sort of oem thing iirc.....
Middle is the weighted OBX......
Right is the junkyard 07 tC oem unit on the xB currently.

Thought I would like this one but just didn't like how it met boot and oem tC felt more natural shifting...
You and I are cut from the same cloth. I think the one you have on the left is the one I just tried and took off for the same reasons as you. Luckily I still kept my OEM knob. And yeah, I dont think I'd like how the OBX one would meet the boot.
Keeping my eye out for some other OEM Toyota option from another model. But must be weighted like the stock knob.

Elegant mirror assemblies! Quite the innovative morphing of your xB mirrors. Very impressive!
Did you have to clear thirty-three dots on the back of each mirror's reflective layer and its protective coating? Did you position the arrow between the plastic and the glass; or open a section of the plastic to insert the arrow?

The arrows are sandwiched in between but now that I can laser etch the back side of the mirrors accurately, I suppose that would make them brighter.
Their daytime visibility is fine from inside the car and they’re still quite bright when it gets darker out.
A version 3 is in the works, new flowing LEDs for the front of the mirrors, definitely gonna laser etch those 33 spots, brighter puddle lamps and maybe have both mirrors tilt down when in reverse, and the usual heated feature

The laser etching sounds perfect. For an early mod I used a flat bottom drill bit to cut through the plastic and to score the layers of glass coatings. I never located satisfactory LED arrows, so I later had Muth make a custom pair including the glass.
Looking forward to viewing the flowing LEDS. I would like to remove my ESAM's and install sequential. I did not notice the puddle lamps; very nice.
You may consider Lloyd's of London for the mirrors. 😎

Those are about the flusherest they can be. What is the stance objective?

What is Lloyd’s of London? Sorry I’m not familiar 🤭

They are a centuries old British based global insurance and reinsurance capital marketplace which brokers with syndicates and individuals as investment. Primarily a tangible product insurer, they will cover anything for a high enough investment. Among their oddities is insurance on Keith Richard's hands, Bruce Springsteen's voice, and Gene Simmons' tongue. Crazy, n'est-ce pas?

Your xB's custom mirrors are unique with a high value and are worth their own insurance.

The entire car has fully been converted to LED, with the exception of the HID low beams. I decided to choose white LED since the green or red looked weird to me.
