No, I tested mine by putting power to it and decided not to purchase it, I do have an extra one that I purchased from junkyard, tested and works as well.

Ok here's the problem. After some heavy rains yesterday here in FL my xB started to act weird. It started to idle fast at 2500, then came up to a stop interception and stalled. She starts but quickly shuts off. I replace the 220k alternator and vvt valve that I broke and still have the same issue. Its starts but wont stay ON. Any suggestions?

I've had bad gas which made me stall before. I put in "Heat" water remover with Chevron gas, and all was well.

Both generation of the xB and TC use the same fuel pump. Only the sender units are different.

Changed out the alternator on my 08 finally. Was going to just have my mechanic do it but of course the evening before I was going in to have it done the damn thing died on my way home so driveway swap it was. Now I have all new engine accessories since I just changed the water pump and starter and put my lightened crank pully on. Not too bad for a car with 205K miles on it.

Rockin the box is just so much fun.................this wknd, Energy Suspension black poly graphite front swaybar and endlink bushing upgrade. Already scored the grade 8 4" bolts and have 1/2" spacers for each side for the kit since consensus is that 4 1/2" bolts and 3/4" spacers that come in the kit are too long that I saw in most threads about it.......we'll see. I'll use whatever set works. It is not lowered any so whatever fits will be wut it gitz...............

The 4" bolts and 1/2" of spacer was perfect fit and clearance from axles sufficient. Highly suggest following the suggested changes to the hardware that comes with the ES kit. And don't forget to reuse the oem centering washer from lower side of control arm...like I did on first side I did. Had to go back and put it in so the top of the bottom bushing had proper containment. Will tackle the frame bushings another time, got other things to do today......................
