I stuck a piece of velcro on my dash last night right behind my steering wheel as a phone mount. So I can see my navigation through my steering wheel:] cant take pictures of my phone without my phone 0_o. But I definitely recommend this simple mount technique. IMO it looks clean, the strip of velcro doesn't really bother me as much as i thought it would. Placement feels perfect. feel way more in control of my driving and phone viability since i did this + NO bulky phone mount or magnet sticking off my sh!7. Pretty straight forward pic....

Fixed two abs speed sensor wires one in front one in back. The lights won't go away though. Even with the battery disconnected for a hour.

Shipped my Nish FFF to Florida after removing it yesterday. Had it on for several years, and through a couple of different grilles. Wavered for a year about selling it; tough decision. Hope the new owner enjoys it as much.

Replaced the door lock actuators, drivers side front and rear.

where did you get the actuator? my driver one doesnt work, i had bought one before on ebay and everything fit perfect except for the actual connector.
Picked up a hood, front and rear bumper cover. Going to try some mods, wife won't let me mod the RS7 parts. So this gives me more leeway.

Installed new knobs today. They are Way better than the stock ones. In every way . The Only downfall is removing them is a pain in the A**! Other wise very happy with them!

I bought some too and installed leds behind them. Much brighter in person, camera does no justice.

Take the old build out pulling the wires out. Then cut some of the new led bulb wire, because its too long, then push it through the grey bulb holder, push in and twist. A bit tricky, had to do it a few times but works super bright.

Finally had someone clean up my rear tail lights. They were pretty cloudy. Now they look new again, although I don't think anyone would notice, outside of some 1st gen owners.

I have a '06.5 salsa red.

The rear lights were pretty cloudy and scratched up. However, the front lights have remained extremely clear- I've been able to maintain them myself. Anyone know if that is consistent with other 1st gens?
My 05s heads are pretty bad. The tails I'm not sure because they aren't OEM.

Officially back on the road after a year of Hibernation. New plugs, new oil, new filter, new MAF sensor and new valve cover gasket after finding oil in my plug area. An hour later and I've been driving her non stop. Honestly was a bit hesitant to remove the valve cover. Ended up being one of the easiest things I've ever done on the xB. lol. Sure does feel like a gokart though compared to the full size Toyota Sequoia I've been romping around in. haha.

Newtags!

Swapped gasket!

Started cutting and bending hood. Trying to get that old school look. Had to cut out and slice some bracing just to get to flex this much. Still a long way to go.
