The first picture (hot lava with blower) is my car. That was part of my car's costume for the show (holloween theme). I do have a supercharger, just not that big. Didn't have time to realy make it look correct before the show, but next time at a costume party, It will be all airbrushed and trimmed up to look real.

A real v8 with a blower probably would never fit in the engine bay of a XB. You would have to do something similar to what hot rodder do to Anglia's and push the drivers position way back near the rear seats in order to get the engine and trans in the hole. Would be cool to try though! Pull up with blower whirring and get out through the rear doors!
