so i been reading up on both descriptions of both lines. what im debating on is which one to get? price does not matter to me for both, just the quality of the product.
goodridge is one of the best brands out there, and has a great rep. along with a lifetime warranty.
stoptech has what they say "the stainless braided hose is coated with a clear abrasion resistant PVC cover for maximum protection against chaffing and strain relief devices reinforce end fittings " which i hear is better for wintery mix conditions. as i live i chicago would be helpful (road salt and all that)

also which brake fluid is best? i read somewhere dot 4 is good, and also valvoline synthetic fluid? if im correct

Ive always used DOT4 fluid in the xB with no problems. As far as the brake lines go I would probably go with the StopTech ones.

Either one is a good brand. I like the ones with the coating thou, as with most of the companies offering those that are coated also have the coatings in different colors. I don't care for the plastic yellow bands around the Goodridge lines. I don't use either brand, but they are both good companies. As far as the coating here is an example of colors available from the lines I offer when I sell a brake conversion.

I will look into that color coating. And I'll probably go with the stoptech ones and the dot 4 brake fluid. The coating is a plus for the crappy chicago weather haha. Thanx guys :)
