I have a 2010 scion Xb , and I want to run some 215/50-17 will they fit with out rubbing.

Without knowing if you are lowered or the width and offset of your wheels who knows.

Now assuming you are bone stock and the wheel specs aren't too out there, then sure they'll fit. Your odometer and speedo will be off by about 2-3%, it'll lift the car a bit and put the tire that same amount closer to the wheel arch but they should still fit. A 225/45-17 is a better fit diameter wise.
