I have a question my car was lowered about 3-4 months ago and the other day when i was driving i heard this sound and its bothering me..every time i hit a bump even a little one it sounds like my driver side front strut makes this clunk sound...it almost sounds like my shock keeps bottoming out but this just freaks me out because i dont want to be driving one day and KABOOM! my wheel rips off or something...any ideas?

Take off the rubber gasket thing, which is on top of the strut assembly, and tighten down the big nut.

Seems to happen with any car when it's lowered.

no you don't take it out. keep everything on, don't jack up the car

look under the dustcap for the big nut, and tighten it down. That will solve your problem.

yes, use a flathead to pry it off, then I believe it's a 17mm? I could be mistaken though.

A socket will fit, you just have to wiggle it in there.
