I picked up a pair of these Kenwood 6903's for the Jeep's sound bar but since Trace got her XB, the Amp and Sub are going in that instead, I decided to snag these for my box. I made a new hatch cover out of masonite and speaker rings of MSD. The rings had to be double stacked due to the depth of the speakers. I got some speaker by-pass connectors from best buy and then ran the wires up through the hatch and into the side panels.
I also shoved some pink insulation into the hatch to take up some air space and I've got killer bass from these. I'm debating at this point if I even need a sub and amp. I DO need to E-Dead the hell outta the hatch though...it rattles like a *****!

The only bad thing so far is that I've got to find different hatch shocks to counter for the added weight, especially when it's cold outside.

I know what you mean, the added tail lights and bondo are hell on my shocks.
