Can anyone tell me about the Tein Hood Damper?
These are the questions I need answered
1. What is the extended length of shocks?
2. What is the compressed length of shocks?

Im trying to do something with them I havent purchased them yet, but I need these questions answered...... Thanks

Why do they say not to put on CF hoods, but I see them on the CF hoods all the time. My only conclusion is that unless you have pins or it latches in, it would make the hood pop open.

I somehow need to get the specs from someone who has them, Ive called a few places and they wont give me that kind of information.

YEah you have to be gentle with Tein hood dampners and a CF hood. And don't let people open your hood either cause they wont know what they are.

Wayne, I've been suing them w/ my bBist double vented CF hood w/ no problems. But then again, I'm the only one who opens and closes my hood.

cool, i've been wondering about these dampers and C/F hoods. anyone else besides tein make hood dampers?

They are a lot cheaper than teins and the mounting points make more sense.

I always thought where the Teins mounted would get in the way.
