I have a stock 2011 Xb with only 30K miles and a clunking noise from the front suspension when i go over our pothole infested roads. The mechanic says its the sway bar bushings that need to be replaced. He first said they shouldnt be more that 20$ for the pair but when he looked into it further turns out the stock bushings are actually $35 each (plus labor)!

My question to the community is to know if I can swap them out for something aftermarket that is more robust and if it`s a fairly simple procedure that i can do myself. I`ve seen the Energy universal bushings online but I`m not sure if they are a good fit; if they are, please tell me which ones to order please.

thx for your input.
