Here's mine from years ago. Painted them white, added a trim ring and made a set of baby moons for them.

Oooouu!! I actually love this look!! My xB theme is purple and pink tho ...white would look ok with it right?
Personally I'd go with a muted gray for the wheel with your paint scheme. The white would be to stark of a contrast for me. Maybe a gray with purple hues in it, or even the concrete color from the 2nd gen tC.
Also, unless you have good fiberglass skills try to find some baby moons or center caps that will already fit. When I did mine there weren't any available so I made them and welded mounting tab to the wheel. I believe there are actually options available out there now.

Eh, some like some dislike it. I’ve just always wanted gold rims but I’ve never seen gold steelies on an xB before.
