wow, is your tire that close to the wheel well or is it just an illusion in the pic?

Yeah, I would trim it. It is going to wear out soon anyway, but go ahead and trim it. I had to trim my wheel well liner too when I put on my 19's(I think in the same place too).

Definitely hack away at it. I cut out my front fender liners but the rear tires are still really close to scraping. A couple of weeks ago on the freeway, my right rear tire took the side skirt cause it's so close.

My guess as to being so close would be a) box is lowered
b) 205/55 whatever tire
and c) offset of rim
Mine used to be close to rubbing with 205/50/16's after I lowered it with my 42 mm off sets.

You might as well trim it or remove it all together because it will just continue to get worse.

Cut it off, Johnny! You've got nothing to lose. I'd double-check your wheel offset if I were you. It may be time for OTG rear spacer shims......

Be sure to post more pics Johnny when you do. That just seems weird that you would get that much rubbing with that setup. You only went up in wheel diameter 1", and a 55 series doesn't seem that tall, plus you're not dropped.
