Hello All~
I am new to the forum and am positing a new thread because the other one was closed and I need help with the serpentine belt replacement on my 2006.
I have changed the belts, but now believe that I loosed the wrong bolt as it keeps coming loose during test drives around the block. The bolt that is self-loosening is the one that holds the double pulley in place. The double pulley that I am referring has both the power steering and alternator belts on it. Because it loosening by itself, does this mean that I do not have it tight enough? Or do I have a larger issue. The belts run fine at idle, it is when there is stress on them, that the belts loosens. I believe when I put a load on the power steering pump or run my A.C. is when I notice the issue.
Thanks in advance for any help.
