Hey everybody. About four months ago i ran my dropped xb through a flooded intersection...the engine stalled and i thought it was the end of it but it started back up pushing a cloud of white smoke out the exhaust. I cut the intake short to hide it in the engine bay (no splash guards) to prevent any submerging. about two weeks ago the rod went through my block while cruising at 55 on my way to school....was the cause of this the water that entered the engine a few months ago?
I got a new engine order and will be doing the swap this weekend.
tell me what you think guys...i am a little lost on how it took a significant amount of water but still ran great for a while?
