I tried removing the OTG shim last night I put on in the winter to see if brings the wheel in enough to not rub... I spent an hour on it but this thing wont come off. I don't want to destroy the thing. Look like it fused to the hub assembly or something.. I know it went on with no issue... any ideas?

use a torch to heat it up. Because it is aluminum and the other is carbon steel they should expand at different rates. Why are you taking them off and what are you doing with them after words?

a torch, yea may need to get with someone on that ... I got a set of the Sportmax 501's and even though the fenders have been rolled I am still getting rubbing here and there over large bumps. It is just barely hitting the outside, so I thought if I take these off they might be able to clear the fender. If it worked I would probably sell them or keep and when I go back to the winter stockers.

I hear the hammer game works too. Well, at least that's how I'd do it.
