Unless the present blade is damaged and requires replacement, aftermarket rubber insert is also available. Most part stores carry it. Easy to exchange the old and new insert, instead of the cost to switch out to a new blade.

I got one from Amazon when the dealer didn't have one in stock. Not as good as the one from the dealer (the insert). Amazon blade may be okay, definitely cheaper than getting it through the dealer.

Granted I am in a rural area, and xB parts are hard to come by for my '05 and '06, but no dealer or parts store carries the rear wiper. Amazon has several choices. The best is to order the whole arm assembly instead of just the blade. They have worked fine on both cars.

I bought just the rubber insert, I think it was from Amazon. You have to pull out the old one, remove the metal strips, inset them into the new rubber blade and then work the blade back into the arm. More work, but worth the $50+ savings, at least to me.
