I found out because a friend sent me a text to ask my opinion on them. I told him that I like mine but I'd wait until a few people get on them to see how they are.
There's a local guy that got the first set for fitment purposes. He's an older guy, and the car isn't even remotely close to hammered.
I need to swing by their warehouse and talk to someone. We need a set in the hands of someone that will properly hammer an xB2.
Lucky thing for them, I know a guy.
ok guys well i have the raceland coils on for over 2 weeks now and here is a video of how they sit.
front is maxed out still sitting on 2 collars and rear i have removed one collar. i love the ride quality. not soft but stiff. no ****. oh and not too stiff its like perfect for me. im actually happy with them. will go lower later.
I'm gonna get a set to last me till I go air. I just got the legzas from big hungry and need to get lowered like yesterday. Lol. Thanks for the info on these guys.
Use them with air. A good friend of mine with an STI has Raceland and is strongly considering this. The UAS bags will fit on the bodies of the Racelands, so everything should work well. He has called them with the idea and, of course, they recommend him to not proceed. Only problem I can forsee would be higher wear on the dampers.
I don't have any. Just picture the Raceland coilover, but with an airbag instead of a spring. If you need me to print out pictures of both and tape everything together so you get an idea as to what it'll look like, I'm sure I could accommodate your request.
Fyi, many people use airbags on coilovers. Maximum adjustability.
I would probably swap its springs with some Tanabe PRO210's just to have a bit more confidence in what you're riding on, and most likely, better performance/quality.
It's the same springs Tanabe uses in their coilovers, that are made to also be interchangeable with most similar coilovers from other manufacturers. Look it up.
Why not 1up that and just run Swift? I've been seriously considering that option.
