As long as you like lots of poke and don't plan on lowering the car much, if at all, then yes you can fit them. You're better off with something around +35-40 for offset with an 8.5" wide wheel.
https://www.willtheyfit.com/ is a great site that you can enter wheel specs and compare them so you have an idea of how they will fit. Stock wheel/tire specs are 16x6.5 +40 with 205/55r16. Enter those for existing specs and then you can compare to whatever you want to look at.
For reference here's mine when I had 18x8 +40 wheels with 225/40r18 tires.
