Hey everyone. I have a 2005 Sciob Xb... it is totally stock. I would like to be able to add an 3.5 mm so that I can plug in my mp3 player.

I found a Goliton cord which was supposed to work, but when I took the radio out, the open port in the back appears to be 12 pin, but it is more of rectangle rather than the square that the chord is designed for. Here is a link to the cord I bought... Amazon.com : Goliton® For PIONEER 3.5MM AUX INPUT AUDIO CABLE MP3 iPOD CD-RB10 CD-RB20 iB100 iP-BUS 12-PIN : Vehicle Audio Auxiliary Adapters : Car Electronics

Do any of you know where I can get a cord that will fit in the back of stereo that just comes out the 3.5mm? I don't have an iphone.

The stereo is a pioneer T1805.

I'm extreme novice with car stereo stuff, so I apologize at how vague and crappy my description is.

Thanks,
Andyhttp://http://www.amazon.com/Goliton%C2%AE-PIONEER-CD-RB10-CD-RB20-iP-BUS/dp/B006FEYK1A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1418491455&sr=8-1&keywords=pioneer+3.5+mm+auxiliary

The stereo that you have doesn't have the AUX function.

The closest you can do is to get this:
TuneCast® Auto Universal Hands-Free AUX

Otherwise, you will have to look for another stereo. If you like factory stereo, T1806 and up has the AUX function.

Balls! Thanks for the info... The guy on the youtube video had an 06 Xb, I didn't think it would have been different. I may get another stereo after Christmas.

No problem.

Yeah, '06 xB and up has AUX. I have an '05 xB with '06 stereo. I had to get an extra AUX plug from someone who makes them for $30.

By the way, 1st and 2nd gen xB uses different AUX plugs for the back. I don't know why they did that.
