He's 19 and is my helper at work. This is his 79' Thunderbird.
What do you think? The 20's took me about 2 minutes to get used to.

Somehow he got the guy to give them to him for $1500 new.

Man, that brings back memories! I had a '78 T-Bird - Diamond Jubilee Edition (vinyl covered the the rear-most windows) with 14x7" Daytons and the required 5.20 tires.

Tell you Bro it's really clean, Chris!!

I had a 78' Lesabre with lots of goodies too. I just got tired of working on it.

I'll tell him you like it.

He would like to bag it, it is in good condition. Besides a little rust in the jams, you know. He needs to get the front seat redone, it's pretty well rounded. Wood wheel, system, wheels, rebuilt motor, just needs minor Overhaulin'

Should pull that trim along the doors too, that would look smooth.

Whoa, my uncle had a 78, and I loved riding in that car. Especially when my cousin had a cooler of beers in the trunk!
