Installation, apart from cutting into the headliner, was pretty straight-forward. The instructions are pretty easy to follow. Took me about 60 minutes, but that included me going slow with marking and then cutting the headliner - didn't want an expensive mistake.

I'm 5' 10" but it doesn't impinge on my headroom at all. I like the look over-all & it does add some usable storage space for sunglasses and GPS or whatever.

Did this to my wife's xD too - slightly different console, little tighter on space, but exactly the same process.

Not exactly cheap at $175.12, including shipping from NEPA Toyota in Scranton, PA. Outstanding customer service - first one had a minor crack they shipped a replacement immediately.

Thanks. AS for lighting up not except for the map/dome lights (that were already there and that you just removed and re-installed).

Wouldn't be hard at all to add LEDs if you wanted to do so.
