First snow that stuck here in central Indiana and I must say I was impressed with how the Xb handled. It wasn't quite as good as my 4x4 Vitara that I had before this--but worlds better than my old Thunderbird and Dodge Dakota (both rear wheel though).

I thought it was really loud driving through the snow and ice though--anyone notice this?

We've only had light snow so far here in southern NY, so it's to soon to tell.

i was in pittsburgh pa for som toyota training on nov 5th, i had to drive from pitt to sothern wv after class their was 2-3 inches on the highway the entire trip, the trip took me double the time i got their in but wow my xb was a tank of course i do have 4 wintermark tires all studded but the trac and vsc saved my butt more then once i was actually passing trucks in the left lane that had not been plowed, of course my average speed was about 30-40 mph the whole time and seen 25+ cars and trucks wrecked but hands down this car out of all front drives i have owned is the most snow capable.

uhhhh...I had a 2001 Dakota with a v-8, and that thing would spin the tires w/ chains on going up just a slight grade in low gear. Was a major let down. :(

Glad the hear the xb2 handles like a champ!

Im in NH and we have a couple of stoms so far this year. The box did well with the stock tires, Im not to sure about the traction control though maybe I just have to get used to it.

I live in Seattle and when we get snow, its bad news because our hills are so steep. Plus it doesn't help that I have summer tires...

In all fairness however, the VSC and traction control are life savers and the xB handles way better than my BMW e30 325is ever did.
