Hey guys,

I just bought a set of 17 x 7 wheels with a +40 offset. What size tires should I get? I'm not lowered right now, but I plan on throwing on some TRD springs later on. Also, I was considering some 205 -40 -17's... would this be good, or should I go with some a lil bit wider? Any help you guys can give me is greatley appreciated! By the way, here's a pic of my new hoops!!

215/40/17's will also keep your speedo in calibration. Since you are plus sizing from the stock 15's, the 215/40's will keep you at about the same rolling diamater as stock.

As others have stated 215/40-17 has almost the same rolling diameter as OEM. Some have run 205/45-17 also for the stretched look. I ran 215/40-17 on my Buddy Clubs. 205/40-17 has a smaller rolling diameter than OEM.

What the max offset to have the tire within the fender with out running spacers. Im just going to stick with 15 x 6 or 15 x 6.5 maybe a 15 x 7. I like my smooth ride.

I too just got some 17's and I went with a 205/40/17 tire because I wanted the slightly smaller sidewall. It's only a tiny bit smaller than stock tire diameter, so it's nothing to worry about.
