So I have an 06 xb and had the original led panel tail lights but the passenger side was broken so I replaced them with some new ones I bought on amazon. The only thing is that it wasn’t an led panel so I had to buy sockets for the brake/tail lights. The sockets came pre-wired with three wires (as the connection for the led panel did) so I went and spliced them together. The brake lights work with the lights off and the tail lights work with the lights on as well as the third brake light, but with the lights on my brake lights don’t work. I’ve checked the fuses, used multiple led bulbs to see if that was the issue, and tried flipping the three wires that I spliced (red to green instead of red to red) but nothing seems to fix the problem. Anyone know what I could do? I’m just about ready to buy another set of tail light assemblies because I don’t know what to do at this point.

Throw up a picture, or diagram, of how you wired it. It'll be a lot easier to diagnose what's wrong.
