hey
I'm trying to find the clips or fasteners
that connect the front fender to the nose
as mime are messed up
they go in the very front edge of the fender
and connect to the top of the nose
I've looked around in a few places
and I can't seem to even figure out the part number
let alone find these things for sale.
or am I hunting used to find it?

that's what I sort of thought
so far I've been pretty lucky finding stuff
I know my clips there are all messed up from before
I will have to hunt
I'm replacing both my front fenders
with 2 oem ones that I found
a deer got one side and the other was messed up long ago
about a hour ago I just found and made a deal on a nice set of oem bucket seats
my seats were torn up and stained when I got the car
I pick them up in a few days
I ordered some JDM fog lights/oem switch earlier in the week
up next
I have to find a fog light relay
and get some led's for the headlights
and find those fasteners
then paint and install all this stuff

Hey Superbee, it sounds like you are looking for the fender clips, let me dig up that part real quick. I swear, if I could remember what year everyone's rides are, I'd be happier instead of just grabbing an 06 part because that's what I drive.

Toyota lists the same part number for both sides. I see one listed on ebay for $17, and Rock Auto has one listed for $9.51 after you look for the part specifically. For some reason they list the part with no uses on vehicles.

I really want to find out what the bowtie looking thing I've seen some xBs have on their fenders are called, so I can try and find a set for mine.

After poking around
I couldn't find it on rock auto and I found 2 differant listings on ebay
they both call the part a drivers side
I just grabbed 2 of them
I know they were all messed up when I put the nose on last time
and now that its coming off again I'm going to try to gather the
broken and missing fasteners up before hand

I'm guilty of parting many cars to save/build others
but the cars I cut up were too far gone and not desirable enough to save.
I bought a empty car shell from a guy then bought a whole complete car
and I parted it into the shell.

I have a little loose cladding on my 2011 RS, am reluctant to go into a automatic car wash ever again, probably won't.

Do you know if it's hard to rebuild the motor inside the car on one I think I'm going to pull the bottom a part of my other car today. I think I'm going to try and figure out why I lost compression in that cylinder and then go from there
