Hey everybody, I have a 2014 xB AT and the range is terrible on it. I have never actually gotten above 266 miles on a tank even though I've read that its supposed to be well above 300. I just filled up today, averaged 21-23mpg, and the range was only 254. Driving conservatively actually made the range go down. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this?

I guess figuring gas prices and distance, my xB ( 2012) gets around 27mpg when I'm in the city- I do drive like a maniac on occasion and it goes lower for my mpg. I'm not sure how to answer this question my bad- others should chime in. My .02 cents.

I filled up my gas tank, inserted a funnel the poured in a bottle of https://www.amazon.com/Berryman-Chemtool-Carburetor-Injector-Cleaner/dp/B000CCMNAG?th=1 Engine ran way smoother. No numbers on gas mileage from that. Also would change out the spark plugs.

21-23 is what I've averaged for years. That's mostly city driving and I have a heavy right foot with large wheels and a fair amount of weight in the car.

it also really screws up cars made before 2001
as It will eat at the rubber in the engine
premature fuel pump failure,
valve seal ,main seal failures and more
the sad thing is they slipped it in without any announcements
they are only supposed to be at 10% max
so if anyone has a milage problem these days
this is one of the main reasons

I put that and a bottle of PolyDyn High Mileage Engine Treatment in my engines.

Also AT-205 Reseal and a bottle of PolyDyn Transmission fluid in the transmission. Manual or Automatic. Gets the Rear Main Seal, Valve Stem Seals and Front Main Seal.
