I believe you can still order the clips from Toyota. Another suggestion I have though, is to use some closed cell foam tape to snug them in. I did this because I was unhappy with the gap that my lights had. I bought some foam that i believe is 1/4 inch thick and i ran it around the outer edge of the lens. Snugs them in and makes for a cleaner look IMHO.Any advice on the retainer clips? After taking my fog lamps out to polish and the replace the bulbs now the clip on the driver's side won't snap back into place and the light keeps popping out
Good morning and thanks for the response. That actually sounds like a great idea! Did you wrap it around the actual lense just out of site or the housing itself? What brand foam did you actually use and where did you get it? Can you share a picture?I believe you can still order the clips from Toyota. I did both actually, around the light and the housing. I recommend starting the tape from the top so that it's harder to see the seam. It was some random brand off of Amazon. I just made sure it was closed cell, so as to be better in the elements.Good morning and thanks for the response. That actually sounds like a great idea!
