yeah brotha... steam is bad for your engine harness... but bomb the **** out of it with Easy Off, let it set for a bit and then gently hose it off... see results

Elbow geese? O.0 lol I use either engine bright or simple green. Just spray a buch on everything that isn't an open electronic. Wait a few minutes. Lightly spray within the water hose and done!

Sorry to thread interject. But is there a "simple way" to get most of the crap off, out of my engine bay? I know a lot of elbow geese, but I've got 2004-145k worth if crap....

My engine is by no means a trophy winner, but it looks like this all the time, and I have around 135k on my 04:

Simply clean. I'm good with it.

But you do have an S/C to go with it.

Alas, I only have the filter. I had it for so long my engine bay looks weird to me without it (like smog time).

I noticed difference at lower rpm and made my car bit quicker.
Not sure about HP & torque gain, but it looks shiny and I like it.

I just passed Colorado emission test & visual inspection at Denver.
But I don't see any carb legal budge on intake manifold.

Shot from the other side. I took a corner today on 3 wheels. I've been running hoodless mainly due to the stupid amount of heatsoak the intake mani gets. Going to be ordering thermal intake and TB gaskets soon to remedy the issue. I feel the car is at the point to where piggy back management is going to be required before I start adding more power. (/ramble)
