This is my first DIY so be patient with me.

My headlights stopped working intermittently. Both headlights at the same time that's why I didn't think it was bulbs. Looked at the fuses and relays - everything good. So I got a new headlamp/turn signal switch.

Tools needed: one Phillips screwdriver and one pocket screwdriver or small flat screwdriver.

Start by taking out the two screws on either side behind the steering wheel and the one on the bottom by the adjustment lever.

And store them somewhere safe

Then take off the upper and lower steering covers. Insert the pocket screwdriver between the two covers to separate. The bottom comes down and out pretty easily whereas the top portion I had trouble with until I moved the wiper switch down all the way.

Next locate the switch about to be replaced and undo the wiring on the bottom.

Next push in the black clip to take the switch off

Replace the switch - make sure it slides into the upper and lower clasps. Plug in the wiring and test the lights. If everything is working correctly reverse the above order.

Again, I don't know that this will work for everyone but it did for me. Also I bought the part through my parts department here at the dealership but the cheapest I found was rock auto for 39 bucks.

Hope this helps anyone in need.
