Different key fob for 2005 XB?

Hi fellow Toaster owners 🥰 . I Don't like my current Fob and separate key setup.. is there a way to get a fob that combines the two and looks a bit newer and fancier? Something like this?

There is also a silver oem fob with wrong FCC ID that would probably house our correct oem circuit board but those fobs aren't cheap for just the shell. I like it but really just more expensive similar oem option............

Those were only available for the xA. The insides from the xB fob fit, except the Panic button does not function due to misalignment. They were available in four colors. I use a red for my BCP xB.

You are a genius., I can't be happier. Ace wanted $35 to cut it 🤦🏻‍♂️. But once I got there they said they couldn't because the fob was too big. They referred me to a local locksmith and a for $4 whole dollars to ¹cut it. Programming procedure took 10 min.

Did you put the key into the fob? Cause everywhere I go they are trying to charge me like 65$ per key. I was gonna try a local locksmith ...maybe I can drive around to an actual locksmith ..

Hey bori, I noticed that you need the 04 Matrix wiper stalk that has adjustable intermittent wipers.

It is plug n play and not bad price. Only sad thing is the rr wiper intermmittent doesn't work without some 2 speed motor back there from some other car.

Yeeess, I actually was thinking awhile back but didn't spend too much time searching for it. I deleted my rear wiper so I'll be good

OK, back on topic here. The results from the fob fiesta. Since the combo key was a success AND I found a Denso 3 button flip key shell that is made to accept the circuit board from the combo key, I bought a 2nd combo key and the Denso shell.....and some Scion schwag item keychain tag and straps. Spent $40 on 2 combo keys, $10 on the flip key shell, $5 for the 2 Scion blue/gray straps and $10 on the Scion black leather tag with blue stitching so about $65 for the whole sheebang. Just got flip key and 2nd combo key today & made the swap - filled flip key shell & programmed up the new unit like I did with 1st combo key using oem key to do programming procedure. Now just need to get oem key copied onto flip key blank. Happy with results...........props to OP for starting this mod chase!

So I finally got this combo with a blank. Gonna go see how much Ace wants to cut it. Hopefully not much lol. Good thing is it came with programming Instructions.

UPDATE: :: 🥳🥳🥳🥳 I was able to get the keys cut AND successfully reprogram the Fobs. I am so amped!! I am going to keep the original JIC but I honestly am thankful to you all for this discussion and all of the help and advice thank you guys so much!!

I took the actual key out of the fob and had them cut it at Ace. 2$ a piece .

That is my plan if I am too lazy to cut the key with a rotary tool and a pattern tracer jig.
