Ok,

It seems the original tires I want are a bit harder to find than thought. I'm having second thoughts about the design of my box. I have found two styles of rims that I like. I think I'm also giving up on finding a white kevlar hood and the CF Black is growing on me more and more. If I were to go with the CF hood and wheel flares which of these two wheels would look better? The first is a dark grey spoke and the second is full chrome.

One of these days I'll quit changing my mind and stop asking you guys so many questions!

Oh, and the second one won't look good w/ a CF hood or flares. It's more of a VIPish, luxury style. The first ones def are more sporty, but they aren't gonna have near much lip as shown in the pic.

Those in there aren't chrome. I've already checked on them.

My vote is for the first ones, especially if it has that much lip! The offset is kinda low though, gonna need OTG rear spacers for sure.

Spacers? Unfamilar with this. I don't want to add anything else to my tires... I did notice there were two different wheels listed under the same style.

http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/fi...=17&c=1&dVeh=dVeh&pc=51100&rw=&bp=&vid=008416

These are listed as 17X7 4-100/114.42SM instead of 17X7 4-108/100 42SM is that the offset? you're talking about?

Also I'm thinking if I go with the "VIP" look the chrome ones would be better and if I go with the CF the grey ones would look better. I guess it's a decision of which style I want? I'm thinking the greys would look good with the grill I got and no CF? I really hate trying to make these decisions...

Maybe I can convince my roommate to help me out on photshop.

That one is better in my girl opinion....:p
Trust me lip is a great thing!!! ;)
That picture is very misleadig. They use one picture to represent all the sizes they have. That pic is probably a 18x9.5 +25 or something. A 7" wide wheel with a +42 offset will not give you the kind of lip as the picture!

Did a quick google, here's some pics of 17x7s:

nononononono I know chrome and CF don't mix. I'm trying to decide whether to go the CF look or keep it really simply and clean. Right now I really am growing on the CF hood and flares with the right tires. Got the idea about the spacers... guess I'll have to see once I have them on... pending on which style I go. Which right now seems to be the CF.

Errrm that might lead me to another decision. Thanks for the insight... I was liking the deep lip. Now my search continues a new.

my personal opinion is for the second ones. on a clean simple car, spaced out flush they would look SICK. im a fan of odd looking wheels though... (see avatar for my wheels haha)
