Got a wild hair up my ass and decided to paint my headlights black....

Turned out to be a pretty fun project....

I will post the finish project tomorrow with the better camera and not the camera phone...

I will take shots of the road tomorrow...right now its doing allright...little darker then stock but I have fog lights to fill that gap up. now just need to wire the fogs to stay on with the brights and I will be golden....cleaner better shots tomorrow guys.

Do you have HID's, they should help.

i wonder if thatll work in Cali. i know that we cant run "smoked" or "covered" (GTS brand) HL. but these arnt covered, so i wonder what the law states here in the west coast?

yep. I thought about painting the whole inside, but decided to just paint the Lexan. don't get me wrong, I love the look... I was just too whimpy.

A guy I worked with started to paint the inside of his 05' Civic lights and he started sanding everything. I talked him into painting the reflective part with heavy metal flake silver. He said they work good, but I also hooked him up with HID's.

He was supposed to sand only the parts that are shown black, not the very inside. They do look very cool with the silver inside though.

got the fogs re-wired today just to run off the switch....this week I will wire up the relay so they will run off the ignition switch...

next step = rims and paint.
