Issue started about a month ago. Probably stemming from the transmission drain and fill last year where I was driving a couple of weeks on 1 quart low in trans fluid.
Periodically the car will go into drive normally, delayed engagement or no engagement at all. Whether warm or cold start. reverse works just fine. It doesn’t slip when it’s functioning normally. Sometimes when it’s driving just fine and you shift into reverse and then immediately back into drive. Theres a chance that will have the same issues with delayed or no engagement when in drive. No check engine lights.
I’m leaning towards a faulty solenoid and probably a clogged trans filter. Any other opinions of what it could be?
