I’m no stranger to driving in the snow in an xB, but my new xB came with 17 inch low pros. Is anyone else driving around with all seasons or snow tires on the 17s (or whatever non-stock size y’all got) or does everyone have an extra set of steelies?

I live in a small space and don’t really have space for an extra set of wheels. I’m also having trouble finding steelies, even in the junkyards in neighboring states, but I can find alloy stock-size wheels (Maxxim Knight, if I went that route).

Can anyone advise? What would you do if this was your car? The guys at the oil shop are convinced I can throw all-seasons on the 17s, but I’m worried it wouldn’t handle as well as the 15s. Currently it flies around corners no problem, but taking corners in the snow is when the car likes to fishtail, and I’m worried with the 17s I won’t be able to correct it. I’m in Maine.

Arizonian here, so I'll be of no help other than to bump the thread for ya, sorry.

Very glad I don't have to worry about things like this...
