Hi all - I need some help troubleshooting a no start situation after a motor rebuild. Trying to get this running for my daughter today before I drive 1000 miles tomorrow morning.

Dash lights up.
Sounds like fuel pump is going but no fuel.
No crank or elec to starter solenoid wire.

Who did the build? If yourself, I'd go over every step- if someone else call them asap. I just stated the obvious so other than that its Superbee44 and 1.8 Tony to the rescue. They should chime in. And make sure those spark plugs are in there good.
Just noticed that although ignition lights up there is no power to door locks/windows, HVAC fans, radio, etc. I checked all fuses but it seems like something (i.e. a main fuse) is out.

George at King Auto did the motor build, I did the swap.

Give him a call before the day is out. If you can reach him. And check ✔ battery cables too.

Thanks.. they are not open today. I'll keep investigating.

I noticed blinkers don't work either. I'm wondering if there is a common ground I missed with the engine swap. Where are these supposed to be?

Try the fuel pump relay. I've been watching videos on this issue 2008-2015 xB see if that helps.

Thank you very much. I did see that but since I have so many other issues I thought I'd look more broadly - i.e. common ground. I'm also having issues locating this relay.. I think the fuel pump is operated with an EFI relay fed by the EFI 20amp fuse. I'm going to check to see if I have power at that fuse.

I think you may have to use another vehicle for that 1000 mile trip tomorrow. Hopefully others will chime in, this may take a day or so.
Yeah.. this is my daughter's car. I was hoping to provide her a vehicle before leaving as it's a long trip back :(.

EFI had power at the EFI main(20) and EFI1(10) and EFI2(10).

Well for now - when it gets running again, you can always drive it to her, and rent a car coming back. I'm stumped. Way smarter club members than i should answer soon.
Thanks so much for helping!!! I'm at her house currently so I'll need to drive 1000 mi to fix. However, it may be at a spot where she can get it looked at. I was able to get it running off batt for a bit by jumping the starter. most systems including alt seem to be offline :(

go back over the harness and check over that all the connections are tight
and make sure nothing is not connected up
and check and clean up all grounds.
go thru and check out the fuses of all of the circuits
that won't work

you had to disturb the harness when you R and R the engine
it sounds like something doesn't have a good connection/ground to me or even a blown fusible link somewhere
I'm not a gen 2 guy but if visually checking over doesn't get you anywhere
and you are stumped
I would find a electrical schematic of the car
and then you can test and probe the circuits further if needed to figure it out.
