I purchased a Nissan Frontier a few years back and on two or three occasions it would shut off or sputter during a turn. Fortunately It wasn’t in heavy traffic. I decided what ever it was, it had to do with killing the power. I started with the battery cables. Positive side looked great. The negative cable ran to the inside fender wall where a one inch an insulated section was clamped to the fender. From the fender clamp it ran over to the engine block. That's where I located the problem. The cable lug that was bolted to the block had a clean break at the cable end. The small clamp at the fender well was all that was providing a ground connection. I replaced the cable lug and no more random shutdowns.
