Thunder Cloud Metallic is pretty much darker silver. It's pretty much in between Tamiya silver and gunmetal.

The e10 drift is what I'm hopefully getting. It's the kit Rcdrift mentioned earlier in this thread, and I checked out some videos of it on youtube. It looks pretty neat, though I'm wondering if I'll need taller body posts since the xB is much taller than a regular car-type body.

Actually it might be good to start a "mini xB" thread in the Sports/Rec forum which is where the general RC talk thread is. With so many folks getting these bodies, I can imagine there will be a lot of chatter and progress shots!

Depends what are you using it for. If it's for shelfing, then E-10 would be good.

IMO, HPI are good, but lacks competition when racing it with other brands.

I'd recommend the e10 for the person who will shelf it, and just drive around at meets and what not. Or not looking to spend a lot.

The sprint2 is great for anyone who wants to spend a little more.

The flux is balls out, if you've never RCed before get ready to crash a lot lol

And all that said and done im a tamiya fan boy and the only hpi's I own are for my son or I've gotten for free

I agree on all of the statement. The 3Racing is the best "bang for the buck" if you want a drift car.

For Hpi e10 the cheapest, then the sprint2, then the flux

For Tamiya any of the expert builds are really nice
