Rear Trailing Arm Bushing Replace-2006 xB

After reading up on this (links below), I decided to go with the stock bushings for replacement. My box has 130k and the bushings are rotted and squeaking. My question is about the install. I have access to a hand press and am wondering if I would still need to drop the axle completely to get them installed. In the CLUBxB thread posted below, 859Toaster stated:

"There are also hand presses available for use. We use them at work when lugging a giant gear box over to the press is too much. Which would just require dropping the bolts and letting the shocks hold it in place."

Does this mean that I can do this by ONLY removing the two axle bolts that go through the bushings? Any other thoughts or guidance about this? Thanks!

Seriously, anyone know what will happen if I just remove the two axle beam bolts that go through the bushings?
