DIY: DDM Tuning HID Headlight Install

I just installed DDM Tuning HID Headlights. Here is how it went:

I put the slim Ballast in a cavity I found just above the tire towards the outside of the car. I just used some gasketing to eliminate vibration and it fits perfectly.

You wanna make sure you work on the correct bulb. The low beam, size H11, bulb is the one closer to the outside edge of the car, not the one closer to the engine. There are 3 bulbs. The inside two are the high beams and blinker. The High beam is 9005, I made the mistake of ordering the right size, trying to plug into the high beam and sending it back because I thought I ordered the wrong size. Then I had to ask them to send the same size back.

To get the original headlight out, after you twist it out of the housing, to remove it from the harness, stick a flat head like so to undo the clip.

Plug the DDM harness that is tied in with the bulb to the original headlight harness. On mine it was a harness, but some kits have 2 copper terminals, just plug positive to positive and negative to negative then tape it up for protection. If you do have the harness, you really have to push hard to make things snap together. You may want to do this last because everything else plugs in logically. It is kind of hard to mess up. Everything can only plug into one thing.

Then put the new headlight in the headlight housing and twist lock it. When you remove the original headlight, make sure that red gasketing comes with it, otherwise the new headlight won't be able to lock in. Also be sure to fix the gasketing on the DDM Light. Their website has a how to on how to fix it...https://www.ddmtuning.com/support/
The bulb itself comes shipped in a clear plastic cylinder to protect it. The top screw off but leaves a plastic ring around the base of the bulb. I just used plier to cut it off. I don't know if your supposed to or not, but I did.

Plug into the ballast using the harness that comes from the part you plugged into the original headlight harness from the picture above

I got the 35W Slim Ballast kit from DDM Tuning. I didn't get any extra harnesses or anything like that. I got 6000K's. Any questions just let me know.
