DIY-Gen 1 stripped out plastic threads in dash

if you're anything like me then you've taken your dash apart a few dozen times to clean and re-wire things. In the process you may have run into some stripped out threads on the heater/AC control module (the white piece with two screws under the left and right knobs).

An easy and quick fix for this is to cut a small section of a zip-tie and place it into the striped out screw hole. When you re-assemble your center console you'll now be able to tighten the loose screw all the way.

Quick and easy
