Re: Excessive engine vibration at warm idle

Update, my Xb now runs as good as the day I bought it. The rear mount got rid of all the vibration. The Catalytic converter took care of the erratic idle.

Awesome,

Now what all did you replace?
the entire engine mount(s) or what

I was looking at the energy motor mount bushing inserts.....

I can report that the new IAC was also a short lived fix.

How much was it to replace the cat ?

Re: Excessive engine vibration at warm idle

My Xb had a vibration also in idle and when I drove it. I brought it to a mechanic a month ago and he said that I needed to replace the engine and transmission mounts. After he changed the mounts, the vibration was still there but not as bad. He charged me $540 but it took around 4 hours to replace everything.
