Valve cover love

I don't come here much since I got a new car but we are keeping the xb. I need to replace the valve cover gasket so I decided to spruce it up a little. I think it came out great, can't wait to install it. Here is a before and after, let me know what you think. I am thinking of having him powder coat my enkei 92's in the same color.

Tried to keep it stock but everything keeps breaking, could of bought a new car by now.

Re: Valve cover love

Good thing I am better at wrenching than taking pictures. Did have a coil plug connector tab break on me. Off to the yard today to get a couple extra. Looks so good but makes the rest of the engine bay look horrid.

Me too and to think I almost went with red!

Wish I had the time, money and energy to make it all look good.

Sadly the local junk yard refused to sell me a coil plug connector, they won't cut the harness. I have had such bad luck with that place over the years. They have 3 or 4 first gens rotting away in the yard, so sad.
