What's missing on my 06 Rs4?

Bought my first box recently and I love it, however as I begin to fix-er up I find myself unable to figure out what's missing here......I've looked at pictures online and can't figure out what goes in those bottom two slots? Fog lights I thought were in the top empty slots... but the bottom? Please inform me!
Thanks!!!

Yep your missing the end sections of bottom grill. They have a tendency to vibrate loose and fall out with age. Every few months when I visit my son, first thing I do is tap them fully back into place. A few well placed tywraps would hold them in place more securely.

This is it. First thing I did when I bought mine was drill a couple of holes in each one and secure them with black zip ties.

Thanks everybody!!! I'll start looking for them to order.......or maybe I'll have to get creative and make something custom! Either way, thank you all for your quick response!

My wife hit too many things with the xb and I couldn't get those darn grill ends to stay, even with zip ties, so I sold them.

2005 TCM / Koni / H&R / Hotchkis / Enkei 92's / Injen / Focal / Pioneer.

Tried to keep it stock but everything keeps breaking, could of bought a new car by now.

Where would you buy them? Also does the middle piece snap off to replace?

Re: What's missing on my 06 Rs4?

Dealer item. Restoring missing parts has been a project of mine as well since I bought her. There is a dealer in Santa Clarita that has pretty darn good online prices, another in Ohio I've had excellent pricing luck with (they'll jump out at you with a little Googling).

You have to balance purchase price with cost of shipping to determine who offers the better deal. I suggest you wait until you have done a complete inventory of what's missing (are the rear seat mount covers still there? jack cover under the drivers seat still there, etc.), get those pieces priced out at one of those dealers, knock off that list what you can be good condition used from Craigslist, EBay, etc, then order in a total lot to get combined shipping efficiencies.

And, yes the middle grill will snap off. Feel for where the connecting points of the grill press over the bumper edges. Lift ever so slightly until that point releases at one end, then work your way to the other end top and bottom.

RS 2.0 restoration project: Punched in the nose, RIP

Moving most of it's goodies to replacement RS 1.0.

Ultra-Gauge (more info), Dynamat entire floor pan and doors (less noise), Enkie RP02 Racing wheels (Lighter is better), K&N Typhoon (Vroom), DC Sport Exhaust (came stock), Hotchkis Front Strut and Rear Sway Bar (less sway), Headrest Speakers, (best mod ever), Escort ZR-4 (fair is fair), Cruise Control, Rear Camera, Tweeters & Sub-woofer, RS 2.0 leather seats

Big Russ just pointed me to RockAuto for the grill inserts. Since my son just lost one. Listed under Body, then Grill. $11.83 each. RockAuto Mobile Catalog

Sorry, it's under Body, then Bumper.

Re: What's missing on my 06 Rs4?

I bought the left side cover from Rock Auto and got it in just a couple days. It looks good, and other than being a mirror image of the right and shiny new, looks the same. However, it won't snap in place, at least on the bottom. However, I think it's because the lower bumper cover/skirt has 'touched' a LOT of objects in the last 8.5 years. I screwed it in place and painted the screw head with some black paint I had lying around.

Re: What's missing on my 06 Rs4?

Even all this time later I got the parts ordered from Rock Auto Catalogue and they are on their way. The Xb is still treating me great! Thanks for a great resource. 2 years in September and I love my XB even more!
