They're actually just stock xB seats that have been re-upholstered. The driver seat had some wear and tear on the bolsters, so having it redone.
Wiring shouldn't be difficult, just need a wiring diagram for an IS300 and a 1st Gen xB to map wires. But both being Toyota products, assuming the connectors are the same, should be plug n play.
Mounting would indeed be the challenge. The xB bottom doesn't have removable rails as I recall. So would require a bunch of cutting and bending to fabricate to receive the IS300 seats. I've got some Recaro's I've been wanting to retrofit to my xB, so grabbed a couple bottom sections from a Pic a Part yard for that someday future project.
I've seen a set up in another xB with Recaro's that was fully functioning sliders and also had height adjust ability. If those can be had, probably the best option for either of us.
