You think so? All Iíd want is to be in the mid-30s, Iíll be fine with that. But I think for that to happen Iíd have to change my driving style, if you will. Haha

You meant more for the MAF sensor than the battery, right?

Some @@s hole hit me in a parking lot and cracked my bumper. I parked far away also. Wasn't angry but soooo disappointed and kinda wanted to quit because I just got it the way I want it. Smh.....

Sorry to see that Sami, people are too preoccupied with Christmas shopping right now. Excuse for the moment anyway.

That sux Samy. fortunately no structural damage. Plus we all know you aren't gonna quit... You are too good for that. Thank for hitting me up the other day. Been too busy to get on here.

Re: What did you do to your xb today??

Heyo first post to the forum here. I lined up a day and a buddy to put in the new exhaust kit in the basement. Original 2006 kit, according to dealership tech's notes, has "the flanges rotted out." Ordered from a shop online, been working on getting some garage time to swap it out, and another pair of hands or two. Looking like Friday will be the day and man will it be nice to drop into 3rd and not feel my eardrums rattle. It's so loud under the console/firewall. And I will be heading out to vacuum it at the car wash today too.

Actually, in search of a club or enthusiast that has a garage setup in the PGH area that is open to sharing or renting or something like that. If there's not anything, and you're in the area, maybe we can figure something out, PM me.

Re: What did you do to your xb today??

Anyone have an idea how to fix this? My latch was loose and I figured I was going to unloosen it, clean it up and it all came apart. Luckily I was able to get one of the bolts tightened down the other one is missing the nut that I donít know what happened to it.

I tried taking the bumper off and I cannot figure out how to actually access inside of that area without having to cut into the metal

Luckily that long bolt for the spare tire holder thing is the same thread pitch as the nut that fell down into the hole so that helped immensely

Ask Ray, he takes them apart many times.

I used to change my oil every 3k, but I just got lazy and went with when my Box says to change it. This is also why I switched to synthetic, supposed to last longer.

Approx every 5k. I just drive a lot in comparison so its more often than not.

Ever since I got the xB itís been nothing but synthetic. It was typically Royal Purple or Mobil 1 but now I settled with Mobil 1. They have good deals at the autozone by my house with a filter, usually saves me $20-$25 instead of buying separately.

Re: What did you do to your xb today??

hit up the junk yard on sat. they were doing temp for % off days. Got lucky sat. morning it was 9 out so it was 40% off all parts. picked up a bunch of stuff for both cars and parts for the GMC truck everything was 95.00 in the end.

the hatch on mine was very badly repaired bondo over paint. when it got cold this winter it all cracked.

the car we got it all from was a 05 tech class car with low miles and was a 5speed but people hacked the crap out of the harness to take the ecu other wise I would have pulled all the 5 speed parts to swap mine over.
