If you're sure the seams are clean you can shoot them with spray undercoat or bedliner to seal, but, if it's not clean and dry, it will rust faster.

Re: What did you do to your xb today??

Hello all, I'm in Stockton, CA and I know nothing about cars. I bought my 2004 scion XB and have had it a few years and love this car. I finally had a little bit of money to put in a viper alarm with all the extras app radio 2 which I need to upgrade cause times have changed. Oh and did new tires and rims, windows. Were tinted already but decided to tint the front two also even though its not legal list did a smoke not blacked out... ill try to upload a pictures. I again no nothing about cars so I had all done at aduio place. I want to do more, I would like to have it have a little bit more get up and go and maybe even more saving on fuel. No one in ares knows anything about addons so I thought I would try here. Now I'm disabled and not looking to drag race or make loud noise. Just want to make it look different and add a little life to it. Want to add new headlights and go led and a new look, I heard there are a few different tail lights too.

Headers, exhaust, and a high flow filter would pep it up a little.

Got the front brakes installed yesterday and today... couldnt get the rears done thanks to a stubborn bolt on the caliper mount, so looks like im paying someone to do that as well as tires and alignment

Guntert, I'm not too far from you. I'm down in Visalia. I actually have a lot of parts you may be interested in for sale as I just stripped my wife's xB since we're getting rid of it. (Still have mine.)

https://www.clubxb.com/forums/sale-sc...ml#post1399297

And for head units, if you want something that does everything (including onboard navigation) it is tough to beat the Pioneer AVIC-8200NEX. If you don't need the onboard navigation and will just mirror your phone, the AVH-4200NEX is a great choice. Alpine has some nice offerings as well, but they will typically cost you a bit more for the same features.

Been looking at the new 8100 but I hear Kenwood is releasing same functions and maybe more next week. I like mirror but I also like to not always have to plug in phone for navigation... so I don't know. I love mirroring my phone on appradio 2 but moved up to s6edge and not sure I want to root another phone, I like paying with my phone and can't wait til Samsung gear s2 can do same

For right price I would be willing to drive it if parts can be put in with in 2 day. HUD I want to do everything, want it talk back to me. U have a new message would u llike to hear it now. Yes...... would u like to reply and it writes down what I say. I don't want to have to touch my phone again til I get out the car. Wouldn't mind putting s movie on there to keep me awake too. Lol just want some ideas before drooping the money. I also wany my car to have more kick ... like I said willing to drive get a room and hand out while work is done as long has its going to help. Any advice or great pricing would help due to be disabled and have a service dog.. let me know and thanks to all that can help. No one has posted anything else really. Just was a sweet ride and get noticed by the girls.. its shopping time again... I know scion XB might be the best ides but its what I got.

Today I'm looking for a quiet free flow exhaust for my Scion since this is the last year on payments. What is out there regarding quiet flow? I heard Megan's have low decibels.

I personally would not spend money on an axle back exhaust if I was looking for something quiet. The stock exhaust is quiet and the performance gain with an axle back is negligible. If you're after performance, you should go with a cat back, but any option you find will likely be louder than what you are looking for.

If you insist on a new axle back, and want something fairly quiet with a good tone, I think the Tanabe Touring Medallion is probably your best bet.
