Re: I need FFF for my 06 xB

I have two FFF's for sale. One is a Nish, for US headlamps, in great condition, painted Black Cherry Pearl. The other is a fake Firesports FFF (or grille), for JDM headlamps, new, never painted or installed.

Re: I need FFF for my 06 xB

A Front Face Finisher (FFF) is a grille and headlamp trim accessory. It covers a small section at the top of the grille and generally is as wide as the distance from the outside top edges of each headlamp. Most are only a few inches deep, but some, such as a Firesports, will replace the xB's grille. There were several brands produced, and a lot of people made their own, usually out of fiberglass. For the xB, they were made specific to fit the US headlamps with the outside raised corner, or to fit the JDM headlamps with the outside non-raised corner.

Props for having a Nish, that's a name I've not heard in years. Not to mention the turn time for getting one made back in the day...

The FFF has no cracks or chips; the Black Cherry Pearl (BCP 3P2) was repainted about four years ago. Paint condition is an eight out of ten. As shown, it is made to accommodate a bB emblem, and not a Scion emblem. Price of $190 including shipping within the 48.

I love it. Send me a paypal address here or through pm. I'm located in Orlando, Fl. How did you attach it?

Re: I need FFF for my 06 xB

I used a Scotch brand double-sided outdoor weather resistant tape, and secured it at four points across the top. The tape is conformable and has held on for years through all seasons and at higher than posted interstate speeds. Some others here may have recommendations for better, or different, ways to attach an FFF.

---------- Post added 10-06-2016 at 09:43 AM ----------

I removed the FFF this morning, and found that I had put double-sided tape at eight evenly spaced points on it; not just four as I remembered. It was definitely secured in place.
